Garden with a Table

Design for a small private garden. Only 24 m2, mostly shaded and with three entries, the garden has its limitations. By placing a robust five meter long table with plants on it in the middle of the garden, the garden becomes a collective place for the whole family. The five meter long table, a simple steel frame with wooden surface, supports this togetherness. Its legs have different heights, creating two types of tables. The frame was custom made by a local blacksmith and supports five cm thick oak planks. The planks remain untreated, fading to a light grey.
